We’d like to invite you to the dealership for another informative and fun tech seminar, this time where we’ll tear down a liquid-cooled 1,200 cc BMW Boxer twin engine right in front of your eyes! Get to know the inner workings of this engine!

The historic BMW Boxer engine is a staple of the BMW Motorcycle lineup being found in numerous models and dating back to 1920. Today, the current 1,250 cc boxer twin is as torquey and reliable as ever, with the 1,300 cc boxer coming in 2024 looking to refine the engine further. We’ll disassemble the boxer engine and reveal its internal components such as the cylinders, camshafts, rocker arms, pushrods, pistons, etc. Get up close and personal to see exactly what makes this engine so beloved, with another tech seminar, right here at BMW Motorcycles Southeast Michigan.

We’ll open the doors at 10 AM and kick things off around 11 AM. Expect 2-3 hours for disassembly with short breaks throughout and lunch. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. RSVPs have been disabled due to reaching capacity.
